EQUINET has recently upgraded to two storage solutions.
Firstly, every time the App syncs, your data will be stored on a cloud based storage system.
The second solution is when you have issues with syncing (even online) so you will be asked to make a backup. If this happens, a user needs to contact support and the technical team can restore all data back to the device.

Considering a lot of data gets inputed in the app while working offline, it is crucial that you allow the app to frequently sync data when you are back online.
This is why we have integrated several solutions for smooth data syncing.

- An interactive panel that indicates when you are working offline
- Automatically changes to green when you are back online and data sync was successful
- When you are working in online mode, you will not see the panel.
- A dynamic panel that shows when your data was last synced
- Keeps track of the last time you saved your data so you can update unsaved data when you're back online.
- Automated reminders to sync unsaved data before logging out
- Ensures your data is never lost as you cannot log out until the data has been synced.

Tips for ensuring your data security on EQUINET
- Always make sure you are on the latest version to receive the benefits of the new improvements.
- Always check for any unsaved data before logging out of the app.
- After coming back from a no-service zone, ensure that the data you added has been saved.
- If you use EQUINET on more than one device, update each device individually to ensure you are using the most recent version of the App.
- If uploading images, make sure they have saved to the App before exiting out of the feature you are in (for example Horse Entry).
- If you can't see the invoices from the App in your accounting service provider, go to Settings > Invoicing and admin > click sync invoices. This should push the invoices through into Xero.
